We collect as little as we can and keep it only while we need it.
Who we are
Revealed Faith is a non-profit Christian project run by Sechel Systems LLC, which is responsible for your information: write to legal@revealed.faith.
What we collect
- Your question and its answer, with the translation you chose. It may reveal your faith or health; share only what you're comfortable with.
- Dictation: your phone's or browser's speech recognition turns your voice into text, on the device or on their servers; we receive only the text.
- Your account: your email, chosen translation and language, plus your name and picture with Google sign-in.
- Your ratings of answers, and any comment.
- Donation records: amount, currency, date, status, checkout email and Stripe's references — never card details.
- Technical logs: IP addresses and browser details, kept by our host. For free-question limits we store only coded forms of your IP and visitor cookie.
Why we use it
- Consent: to answer your question and, if you sign up, to keep your account and history.
- Contract: to process your gifts.
- Legitimate interest: to keep the service safe and fair, and to improve it. Our team may read answers rated not helpful.
We never sell your information or show ads.

- OpenRouter: routes your question to the AI models below.
- Z.ai (GLM): chooses the passage and writes the answer.
- Anthropic (Claude): the fallback when GLM fails.
- OpenAI: topic search and crisis checks.
- TypeSafe (JEV): checks we can help.
- Vercel: hosting, logs and cookieless, aggregate statistics.
- Neon: the database.
- Resend: sign-in emails.
- Stripe: donations.
- Google: optional sign-in.
- Apple, Google or Microsoft: speech recognition.

Cookies, your browser and the app
- Cookies: a session cookie keeps you signed in (30 days); a visitor cookie lets us give each visitor one free answer (7 days). No advertising or analytics cookies.
- Your browser keeps your theme, translation and chosen language, a copy of your recent screens when signed in and, while you sign in, the question you were writing.
- On your phone, the app keeps your language, translation and AI consent and, while signed in, your session (in secure storage) and copies of recent screens and answers, and tells us when you dictate.
Your rights
You can see, correct or delete your information (in the app or at revealed.faith/account/delete), object to its use and withdraw consent at any time.
Write to legal@revealed.faith. You can also complain to a data-protection authority.
Children
Revealed Faith is not for children under 13; if one has given us information, write to us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and announce significant changes on the site first.
